Elf

Alexey Nikolaev was born in 1983 on Pyatnitskaya Street in a house overlooking Red Square. Mom is a politician, dad is a French citizen. He grew up listening to Joe Dassin and Tina Turner, but his first and true conscious love was the Swedish kings of the 90s disco, the group Ace of Base. Alexey Nikolaev was expelled from school three times: in 1st grade for disrespecting the October badge, in 3rd for setting the assembly hall on fire, and in 5th for igniting a firecracker in the school restroom. Little Lesha was an enthusiastic person. From the age of three, he began fishing regularly and at one point even became a candidate for master of sports in fishing, and his 3rd amateur radio category allowed him to set up a pirate radio station in 7th grade, where he even managed to broadcast a couple of times with his favorite drum and bass at the time. His first club experience was Mamedev's rave Galaxy, which older kids took him to. However, at first, his mind was captured by jungle music; in 1998 he actively attended Storm Crew parties, and his favorite DJs were Andrey Vyacheslavovich Kotov and Arkady Air. Then came trance and Theatre Square, the club 'City', Uletai, synth-pop, and electro... He played his first set in 2003 at the 'Na Lestnitse' cafe. It was fun electro. After that, there were free sets at 'Uletai', his first DJ fee at Bad Café, and a series of cafes: Le Trange, Poison. He became popular with Odintsovo ravers and got his first residency at the local club 'Tsех'. His love for American deep house came thanks to a mix of Kerry Chandler that he played to death. However, currently, he can only play that music in cafes; on club dance floors, Elf plays tech and electro-house.
