Flow Festival 2015

From August 14th to 16th, Helsinki will host the FLOW festival for the twelfth time. A powerful music program, installations by contemporary artists, exhibitions of modern art, independent film screenings, lectures, as well as a variety of street food from the best cafes and restaurants in Helsinki make the festival one of the most extensive and significant cultural events in Europe. The festival takes place in the Suomenlinna area, surrounded by one of Helsinki's most monumental architectural objects on the territory of the decommissioned power plant, within walking distance from the city center. The FLOW line-up is traditionally updated leading up to the festival days. Here you can hear chart-toppers as well as acts that will be all the rage in a year. The announced line-up already includes names that can impress any music lover: Pet Shop Boys, Chic with Nile Rodgers, Beck, Roisin Murphy, Major Lazer, Florence + The Machine, Alt-J, Flying Lotus, Belle and Sebastian, Tyler, The Creator, Ride, and many other prominent contemporary musicians, all performing over 3 festival days. Every year, FLOW is attended by tens of thousands of people from all over the world, including a significant number from Russia.
