Signum is Pascal Minnaard and Ronald Hagen, two producers who met in high school. In their school years, the guys dreamed of creating beautiful music. Today, they play and hear their tracks in the best clubs around the world!

Based in Zoetermeer, a small town near The Hague in the Netherlands, the duo has become one of the most influential teams in the global trance scene. First Pascal, then Ron some time later, signed a contract with the Danish record label BPM Dance, and in 1997 the pair began active collaborative work, with their "What You Got For Me" becoming a massive club anthem.

After a series of successful records and remixes (including works for such prominent stars as Armin Van Buuren, Tiesto, ATB, and Lost Tribe), the duo was overwhelmed with requests for performances and, feeling that it was time to play in clubs, they started learning to mix. Without a doubt about their demand, Signum made a truly stylish debut, playing their three-hour set in July 2001 at the Gatecrasher festival (UK). From that day on, the duo started performing in the best clubs of the United Kingdom: Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Passion, and Slinky; at various festivals from Global Gathering to Homelands; their performances took them to Australia, Spain, Ibiza, Canada, Africa, Switzerland, Germany, Mallorca, and Malaysia.

After signing with Armada Music in 2003, Signum immediately topped dance charts worldwide with tracks like "Push Through", "The Timelord", and "Come Around Again", recorded together with vocalist Anita Kelsey, which Pascal and Ron called the track they had always dreamed of recording!

The year 2007 is preparing us for a mixed album by the duo, Trance World, the first exciting compact from the new Armada series. Featuring tracks from almost the entire spectrum of contemporary trance, including the duo's own works, this double disc rightly deserves the title of an absolute must-have for all trance fans. "This is our first mixed compilation - creating it took us quite a bit of time and it's really cool that we finally did it," says Pascal. "We needed a wide selection of different genres to show that trance is still trance, but heavier and more technical."

In anticipation of the album, well-prepared performances, and numerous remixes set for release, it becomes clear that 10 years for Signum is just a wonderful beginning for the successful partnership of two good people.
