Conquering the world, as usual, started with conquering the Internet. Thanks to the World Wide Web, the 2004 debut album Catchy! by Dmitry Bobina Almazov and Sergey Vinogradov became the best-selling trance album online. An even more brilliant fate was in store for the track Lazy World, released in September 2004 on British label Deep Blue. This single immediately landed in the record bags of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Matt Hardwick, and Ben Lost, bringing international fame to the Bobina project. The sudden fame as "Russian trance masters" allowed Bobina to collaborate directly with recognized genre pioneers, recording remixes for Three Drivers (Air Traffic), Jan Vayne & Armin van Buuren (The Purple Point), The Thrillseekers (Synaesthesia), and many others. These works appeared on Godskitchen Global Gathering 2004 and Armin van Buuren's Classical Translations compilations. In early 2005, Sergey Vinogradov left the project, and Dmitry Almazov continued independently. 2005 became a year of rapid ascent. Joining forces with Swedish musician Cave Azizi and British vocalist Erika Obano, Dmitry released the track September Rain under the pseudonym Zenon, earning a five-star review from DJ Mag and reaching second place in Mixmag UK charts. Over the following two years, the Bobina project participated in major dance festivals—Gatecrasher, FortDance, Kazantip, and Trance Energy—performing alongside famous DJs and musicians including Tiësto and Ferry Corsten. Last year, Dmitry "Bobina" Almazov produced five compilations sold in Russian and international markets with a combined circulation of 200,000 copies. The second studio album, Beautiful Friend, was released on Government of Sound / World Club Music label in April 2006.
