Swanky Tunes

A young group from Smolensk today claims the title of the Russian Daft Punk. In their musical development, the guys have gone through all stages of a long journey - from playing electronic music on the Roland TB-303 and the big beat inspired by the creativity of Fatboy Slim to low-fi house of the French school. At their performances, you will never see boring faces glued to their laptops. Their element is the energetic drive of live bass guitar and analog synthesizers. It's no surprise that the daring show of Swanky Tunes was applauded by audiences in Minsk and Moscow, Izhevsk and St. Petersburg. The band created a real sensation at the festivals Eastern Strike and Stereo-Summer, and also left a great impression on Swedish musician Jay-Jay Johansen, with whom they had the chance to perform on the same stage.
