Teenage Bad Girl

Some say this is a genetic modification of Daft Punk, Aphex Twin, and The Stooges. Whoever they are, they are part of the French electro touch, a new trend in electronic music, alongside Justice, Para One, Modeselektor, and others. And they definitely know how to blow up the dance floor! When Greg Kazubski and Guillaume Manbell met online, they decided to create music together - thanks to technological advancements in civilization - and named their alliance Teenage Bad Girl. Their first twelve-inch release, Hands of a Stranger, quickly soared in dance charts. According to numerous clubbers, the coolest moment comes in the middle of the fourth minute when the dysfunctional guitars kick in. The second side of the release, Ghost House, is no less impressive than the first. The internet portal www.bigstereo.net wrote: 'Very good release, keep an eye on these guys.' Since then, the wonderful duo has been supported by DJs Mylo, Chloe, Paul Woolford, Erol Alkan, Ian Pooley, JohnLordFonda, Justice, dj Hell, Digitalism, Arthur Baker, Adam Freeland, Ewan Pearson, Hystereo (Soma), Vitalic, Boys Noize, Yuksek, and many others. Their tracks are played in clubs around the world! Perhaps you've already seen the insane and psychedelic shock clip our provocateurs shot for their successful single Cocotte from the album of the same name. The black-and-white video literally plunges you into the nightmare atmosphere experienced by the main characters - a young couple expecting a child. It's impossible to tear yourself away from the viewing, and the plot can be interpreted in various ways. Greg and Guillaume, appearing on screen for just a couple of seconds, apparently send a hip-hip hello to their fellow dance scene colleagues, the duo Chemical Brothers. As for the album, it was released in March of this year and includes 14 "electronically dirty" tracks and some remixes from Boys Noize and Hystereo. In clubs, the guys party so hard that they have gained fans such as Andy Cato (Groove Armada), Erol Alkan, Dan Kahuna (FC Kahuna), Funk D’Void, James Friedman, Steve Angello, Crispin Dior, Arthur Baker, Adam Freeland, Behrouz, Ewan Pearson, Scarlett Etienne, Justin Miller (DFA), Steve Lawler, Steve Mac, Swag, Ian Pooley, Jose Nunez, Mandrax, and Miguel Pellitero… Perhaps this is the best recommendation there could possibly be.
