How to use the archive — search, map, accounts

The venues map

The map plots every venue with known coordinates. It's the geographic way into the archive — pan, zoom, and let places lead you to their events and history.

Reading the map

  • Venues cluster when zoomed out; the number is how many sit in that area.
  • Zoom in and clusters split until you see individual venues.
  • Click a venue to open its card, then jump to its full page.
Note

Only venues we've been able to geolocate appear on the map. A venue without coordinates still exists in the catalog — it just isn't pinned yet.

Clubs and stages

The archive distinguishes clubs (standalone rooms) from stages (spaces inside a larger venue or festival). Both appear on the map; a venue's page tells you which it is and what happened there.
