Searching the archive
Search spans every catalog at once — venues, events, releases, labels, artists, DJs, news and articles. One box, everything.
Keyword and meaning
Search is hybrid: it matches your words and their meaning.
- Keyword finds exact names, titles and codes — a catalog number, a club name.
- Semantic finds things that are about what you typed, even with different words — search "acid warehouse parties" and get the right venues and events.
The two are fused so the most relevant results rise to the top regardless of which leg found them.
Tips
- Type a catalog number or legacy ID to jump straight to a record.
- Search in either language — content is indexed in English and Russian.
- Results are grouped by catalog so you can scan the kind of thing you want.
Tip
Nothing found? Try fewer, broader words. Semantic search rewards describing what you mean over guessing an exact title.
From results to the graph
Every result links into the archive's graph. Open a DJ and you'll see the events they played, the releases they're on, and the venues they frequented — search is just the front door.
