Birthdays of spy.der and Parov Stelar

On November 28, "Roof of the World" celebrates two birthdays: the club's resident DJ Spy.Der and a foreign guest - Austrian musician Parov Stelar, who will perform here together with Max The Sax.

Parov Stelar - real name Marcus Führer - was born in 1974, lives and works in the Austrian city of Linz. Marcus's music career started relatively recently, in 2000, but in less than a decade of creative work he achieved considerable success. His musical preferences can be described as the freedom of jazz in combination with house groove and break beat. He is the head of the Etage Noir Recordings label, on which over five years of its existence he released over a dozen of his own records and three albums, as well as works of his musical like-minded friends.

Marcus's solo releases, tracks and remixes were also released on other independent labels, including Raum...Music, the legendary Irma Records, Big City Music and many others. In addition, his music has appeared on such world-famous mega-corporations as Universal, Warner, Sony/BMG and EMI. Marcus's work is aimed at both club performance and home listening in a comfortable chair - an enviable versatility that is not so easy to achieve. In addition to working on the label and in the studio, Parov Stelar also actively tours around the world as a DJ, as well as gives live performances under the name Parov Stelar & Band, where together with him on stage perform talented saxophonist Marcus Elkmayr, bassist Stefan Höltl, drummer Andreas Lettner and unique vocalist Beate Baumgartner. These talents came together and got along not by chance - they have all been professionally engaged in music since early childhood and cannot imagine their lives without it.

Besides tireless work in the field of dance electronics, Marcus also earned an excellent reputation beyond the dance floor, creating various sound, video and film installations.
